Tree House & Shepherds Hut

Enjoy the stunning setting of this romantic spot in nature, looking out over tranquil hills and woodland treetops into an extensive valley beyond. Star gaze on the treehouse deck or rest in the shepherd's hut. Invite friends for a unique outdoor experience, whether dining alfresco or steaming in the hot tub soaking up the view on a long summer’s evening or in the crisp winter air while counting blessings and shooting stars.

The shepherd's hut features a beautiful cabin style bespoke double bed, accessed by a short set of wooden steps, and featuring a repurposed port hole window! There’s a couch beneath which can be pulled out into a second double bed when needed, making full use of the space.

The well-equipped kitchen has a gas oven/grill and 4 hobs, as well as a beautiful painting of a swallow on the wall! There’s also a very efficient log burner to keep you warm in the colder months.

Outside, on the small private lawn is a cast iron table with four chairs, and there is a private drive and parking right outside the hut. There is also an outside shower and compost loo.

The tree house is your additional/spare room! It features a built-in double bed with breath-taking views, and a basin built into a repurposed road sign! Please note guests are entirely responsible for children and for climbing the ladder safely, and using common sense on the platform and in the tree house.

The hills all around are teeming with wildlife (a friendly robin may choose to meet with you if you’re patient enough!) as well as the usual farmyard animals.

Power is provided by solar, and a traditional, luxury 6-person wooden, wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional fee of £85 for 3 days and £20 a day after that.

Please note, the site is on the edge of a working farm, so you may occasionally see a lost or wayward sheep, or a grumpy farmer trying to catch it. Parents and pet owners are responsible for keeping a close eye on children and pets, and all pets are required to be kept on leads.
